Join our shoreline cleanup Aug 18

EVENT NOTIFICATION!

Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society is doing a shoreline cleanup next week.

YOU’RE INVITED!

Join us for the 23rd annual Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup! Help us clean up our shorelines and collect important data to help protect wildlife and people!
10:00am–12:00pm on Friday August 18th at Horseshoe Bay Park in West Vancouver.

This is a FREE event. All ages welcome.

Look for our table and poster/banner saying “Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society.” We will be set up in the middle of the park near the picnic tables and bathrooms. RSVP on our Facebook event or on the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup site.

This park is transit-accessible. Hop on a 250 or 257 bus and take it all the way to the ferry terminal. The park is right across the street! We will have bags and gloves but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Small bags work best. Feel free to bring water gear also (SUP, or bathing suit and towel, net, whatever!) if you want to clean the water. We will have a great educational display table with incredible biological artefacts of local wildlife. Be sure to come check us out and learn all about the natural world that surround us even if you can’t help clean up! Fun for all ages.

The more the merrier, so please invite your friends!
