NWPS would like to introduce our newest summer student: Nicole Wild.
Nicole joined our team in May as our newest Community Outreach Coordinator thanks to a generous grant from the Canada Summer Jobs program.
Nicole is a Graphic Design for marketing student at the Chip and Shannon Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Richmond. She brings with her a great range of communications skills to help us engage with local communities about wildlife preservation.
Here is what Nicole has to say:
“I am so excited to be working at NWPS this summer and play a part helping the organization. Having grown up in Vancouver I have always been exposed to and fascinated by the environment and wildlife around me. During my time at NWPS I am hoping to put my design and marketing skills to use to help with fundraising, social media, and content creation. I am also really looking forward to going to events and workshops where I can play a part in educating people about what we do and why! Though I only started last week, I can already see that this is a wonderful organization that does work that is so important!”
